ARI Promotes Yurek to President

The Arlington, Va.-based Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute promoted Stephen R. Yurek from chief operating officer to president. Along with Yurek’s appointment, ARI promoted Mark Menzer to executive vice president from senior vice president. Menzer oversees the engineering, research and statistics departments. Yurek replaces Retired Navy Rear Admiral William G. “Woody” Sutton, who announced his resignation in December 2006 after five years leading the $14 million association.
